You are absolutely correct in that, they do not employ the 1.4 million people in the US that Walmart does. They don't service the needs of 100,000,000 customers each and every week of the year, as Walmart does. They are not supplies by over 3,000 US owned and operated suppliers, as Walmart is.

And lastly, they are not owned by as many folks as Walmart is, over 1 billion shares out of 2.1 billion total, are owned by outsiders, many of them being pension and/or mutual funds.

 

So you shop at a place where they are less greedy? Lol!! All business owners are in business to make as much money as they can, so either you shop at stores owned by "greedy" people or you don't shop at all. I assure you nobody is in business to not make money.

This is a very old sophist dodge to disregard or ignore facts. This is how we find people rejecting the Theory of Evolution, because it's just a theory, not a fact. Global warming is just some guy's opinion, not a fact.

A conclusion based on a careful consideration of the evidence is an opinion, and thus can be dismissed, even if that opinion states that the force between two masses is equal to the product of the two masses, divided by the square of the distance, and then multiplied by a constant.
