Isn't he using already compiled video files lately? So not animations assembled by Renpy engine, hence fps restrictions should not apply. It would simply be a video file to play. I haven't got the game on this PC otherwise I would check. I don't know how RenPy could limit the fps of an encoded video.
This is obviously theory no one would ever go to 120fps for a VN when most current monitors don't even support a refresh rate that can handle that. Gamer's monitors are not the standard.

I know, but the MOD for season 1 still works totally fine, and it's a real time saver. It suggests also the right choices on Swiper and Rooster. Months ago I was able to redo many paths in two days when it would normally have take me weeks (yeah I have too many paths).

but enough time passes between when Mona runs away from the room with Burke and when she leaves the BR

at least apparently, when Quinn talks to her it doesn't seem like the situation is that critical, only then Mona makes it even worse by letting the drug issue slip in front of Lily, proving to be a danger to Quinn's business.

And later, at the party for the new HOTs, Mona is caught between Maya and Quinn again.

if rejecting Burke had already sealed Mona's fate, what would be the point of making her a HOTs, celebrating her entrance, and kicking her out later?

but it's still porn, so anything can be

I agree, making her a HOT made no sense if she was going to get forced out anyway, unless Quinn didn't know.
The last scene we see with her, before the "walking away" scene is when she doesn't support Maya's claim that Quinn promised them free tuition, I always assumed the guilt over that was the last straw that made her break and leave. It seems like she went to her room and packed just after Maya left, considering how her leaving is shown.

Well thinking about it, you could be right. There were a lot of things that put a target on her back so to speak
by refusing to sleep with Burke, she obviously becomes aware of his infidelity
by refusing to sleep with Burke she damaged the reputation of the restaurant
she obviously found out about the drug deals

Now, it's still up for debate whether Burke actually knows just how shady Quinn is. But ultimately, I think Mona was a girl who knew too much, and to save himself, Burke cut her funding, forcing her to go.

the question of the restaurant's reputation seems irrelevant to me. Burke is part of the restaurant's mechanism.

to tell the truth we don't know his precise role in all this. clearly he is not just a customer, but is he Quinn's boss or are they both in the service of someone else? Burke runs these ‘fake’ grants that evidently represent the reality hidden behind the rumor of free tuition, it is a very high risk.

Not trying to play as DPC's advocate, but these 60fps animations actually look pretty good (the time it takes to render them aside). I used to have 4GB RAM, then I upgraded to 12GB, and this is the first time since the upgrade that I've played the game and noticed this.

And man, this scene, once again, has reminded me why Bella was my very first pick...

I really miss Mona. I would really love to see her back in the HOTs so Tremolo can help Quinn to corrupt her and let her become a obedient and professional whore. I think she has the skills to be successful. And why not, she could work in couple with Maya. I think Mr Burke would pay a lot of money for a threesome with those two. Jill's dad too. Then as gratitude, he would probably let MC fuck his wife.

it is certainly the extra 30 fps that has won you over

I can imagine the frustration with the animations of the previous chapters, what a bore

The 60FPS scenes were actually sort of jarring at first, because I was totally used to the robotic 30FPS shit :HideThePain: But I do like how jiggly the girls are now :love:

Sounds a bit like burning the house down to deal with a spider because other developers don't do it. I'm sure he could fire a quick message to scrappy to just add in a redirect message with the mod in case of a rollback error saying "Your game crashed but you have a mod installed, don't contact DPC saying it's an issue, this is a you problem for playing with a mod. Asshole." type thing.

Would make the time wasted by DPC trying to block scrappy and scrappy wasting time having to find a way around it each update go away, and sorts their issue about false reporting.
