hentail8xbdsmdragonmaster: Roronoa Zolo: "When I find the asshole who rule 63ed me and chop him/her into little bitty pieces, maybe I'll go back to being a man!
That's Zolo, not me I like rule 63. 8-b
Anonymous3: Not to beat a dead horse, but if it was meant to be "Zolo", Oda would write "Zolo". He uses L's and R's as L's and R's in Romanization. There's no "It's how Japanese pronounce" etc. bullshit there.
I mean, Luffy's name is canonically Luffy, whereas Zoro's is canonically Zoro in Japanese print media. By this logic, you'd have Ruffy and Zoro OR Luffy and Zolo. There's other characters in the canon with names that further prove this.
Anonymous5: Check the funimation version and they say it the right way. It's Zoro. I can give you a link if you really want. The only reason they said Zolo in the 4kids version was because they didn't want to copy the mask of zorro, and were worried about copy rights because he gets a black mask kind of shading when he puts on his bandana and he's a swordsman.
