blobfish: Starting from reference (model: Amber Lynn Bach), redrawing a few times to internalize shape and proportion, shifting towards abstraction, then finally the "lock-in" where it all comes together
Anonymous1: Nice Work, Blobfish, because, as I've said before, I LOVE seeing an Artists work in rough form, as it gives some insight, into that Artist's creative process! Here, You've shown, at least in part, the very thing I was talkin' bout!
Anonymous2(1): I've said it before, and, HERE, You've shown almost exactly what I meant; I love seeing an artist's work in unfinished form, as, it gives ME, an insight, into that Artist's Creative Process, and, Here, You've shown that, almost perfectly!
blobfish: Don't forget this is just the process of a novice artist - for a very experienced artist the whole visualization process would probably be only mental. All the sketches on this page are me fumbling to understand the shapes and proportions
