Anonymous1: So, the artist read somewhere where the Jungle Book was stories about the Indian jungles and decided to make his characters natives of the American continents instead of from India?

Error503: @Anonymous: I was thinking the same thing. But I believe the artist intentionally drew Shanti as an American native knowing that the character was from India.
