Urbane_Guerrilla: Tracing's a worthwhile learning exercise if you only do it a few times. It's not for posting, though: it's like playing a few scales to warm up your "instrument." Then you set out to do your own line, melody or graphic.
With something better suited to the art than one #2 pencil and a sheet of looseleaf ruled paper, this one's technique could mature. Try ink and brush. How 'bout them Japanese brush markers? They don't drip on your artwork and deliver a highly expressive line. Watch it -- they are extremely sensitive and you must learn to very exactly control your hand position. Once you master that, you can very speedily do brilliant things with your line art.
korblborp: what are you talking about, anon7? i mean, the boobs are a little odd (and too big for my tastes) but the face is good, this person could be good. can you do better?
why did anon2 ask the tracing question?
traffik: According to the artist (in a comment on a dupe of this that will probably be deleted), the pic on the other side of this is of Jaina Proudmoore from World Of Warcraft.
