I was about ready to tear this person a new one, thinking, "There's no way we've been getting it wrong for 11 years." So I looked into it, and... um... it looks like we've been getting it wrong for 11 years.

traffik: @Farfegnugen: Yeah, I don't know. It seems like even the people who made the show were inconsistent about it. I tracked down a discussion in a forum where someone points out that the show used "La Fume" a couple of times, but there's also a 'final' model sheet floating around with "Le Fume" on it. Some argue that in French, "Le" would be appropriate for a male (hence 'Pepe Le Pew'), but "La" would be appropriate for a female.
