Anonymous3: Actually 2 sperm can’t get into 1 egg because the egg thickens immediately after the first one gets in. The twins happens when 2 sperm get into 2 eggs.
Anonymous5: *sigh* There are two types of twins, Identical and Fraternal. Fraternal twins are the result of two different eggs being fertilized by two different sperm cells. They are as genetically related as any other pair of biological siblings depite being born at the same time.
Identical Twins are the result of a fertilized egg splitting itself in two relatively early on after fertilization. Since they are the product of a single egg and single sperm cell these twins share the exact same DNA as each other.
Please note that in neither case does a single egg get fertilized by more than one sperm cell.
Anonymous7: Anon 5 needs to look up semi-identical twins is a thing so is actually possible for two sperm to enter just it's rare. "two sperm fertilized a single egg that split into two. Genetically, the twins have the same maternal genes, but share only about 50% of their paternal genes, the same as dizygotic twins or siblings." Idiots not doing their own research. https://www.verywellfamily.com/what-are-semi-identical-twins-2447180
