Anonymous2: @Anonymous: I'm a left-winger, actually a Mikhail Bakunin Anarchist, I may not what you like you have to say, but I'll defend your right to say it. Not all of us leftists are bad.
Anonymous10: As Darkiplier became less of a joke and more of a persona over time, he slowly became more refined and intelligent, whereas he had previously been a trigger happy character who had little self control and a loose grip on reality. As he gained control, he became less prone to quick, silent, staring periods and more about planned, intelligent messages. He works by putting thoughts into your head, implanting them there so that in the end its you who winds up terrifying yourself as you overthink what he's told you. In the earlier days, he was about long silences leading to jump scares, but moved more into legitimate mind games. The most terrifying part about the character is his impressive ability to make you doubt everything you thought you knew and scare yourself rather than doing something actually scary. The fact that its like Darkiplier has some kind of control over you in that sense is what causes a lot of the fear. An example of this would be when he states that there is something behind you, and says that know you are too scared to look. He's tapping into an instinctual paranoia found in almost everyone to an extent. Obviously his whole character is based off of a whole lot of mind-fuckery.
Anonymous13: @Anonymous: Well you know that guy on deviantart who commissions pictures of white women buying carts full of wonder bread and engaging in deforestation? It's kinda like that
Look at the images from when the site was young (2007-2008). It's all 4chan shit, and it's beautiful.
