Anonymous2: So, let me just see whether I am understanding this right. Adult Lorraine is reminiscing of 1955, having put on her old dress. When she sees Marty, she realizes he was Calvin Klein. Her dress rips open (because she's outgrown it?) and she decides to seduce Marty. In the end, Doc watches in shock as Lorraine kisses Marty. So, is the implication here that because Marty looks shorter than his 1955 self in the top right corner, this is still before his journey back in time, so he's "new timeline Marty"? Hence him being surprised in the epilogue, because"regular Marty" doesn't remember a relationship with Lorraine? Secondly, why is Lorraine coming over to kiss Marty in front of Doc? And why is the DeLorean visible in the 1955 picture when Lorraine is only just finding out about time travel? Or am I just overthinking a well-drawn comic?
Anonymous4: @Anonymous: Yeah. You got the right idea for the most part! She probably does not realize he IS literally Calvin Klein and just thinks he looks like her old flame. This IS the new timeline and a couple years before the original. Doc probably remember the Calvin/Mary-Lorraine relationship, but Marty does not. Lorraine is just like that in this timeline: very prone to expressing her love for Marty. Doc is already working on time travel at this point in time, but it isn't ready yet.
