At the same time, there's a ton of subtext in the quartet of him, Starfire, Raven, and Jericho. Pick two and you have a potential couple; Raven even thinks she's dating Nightwing for a bit.
And when Raven designs because she killed a bunch of nooks and sealed her own fate, we see an afterglow; it actually has the air of a deflowering for Nightwing, and the subtext that Starfire finally had been with a man who respects her.
The Chad Dick of recent years can't compete. He's boring, inane, practically jejune.
