Santtu: What kind of a name is Van Hohenheim anyway? Even his wife calls him Hohenheim, so you'd expect it to be his first name, but then there's that Van.
- Reply
Xarkana: Um, Hohenheim is a title, Since he married her, his would be Elric, thus his name is Van Elric (Or Honenheim Van Elric). It does beg the question why his wife refers to him by rank, and not name, perhaps authority is an issue in their house :P

O_Rly: ^So his name is Van? :|
Hoho looks like he does not want.

Sir_Anon5: O Rly: That's just what I was going to say. Of course, Trisha's face does seem a bit off to me.

Xarkana: Yep. And yeah, she does look weird, the way her face is built, it looks a bit more like Ed (though the hair isn't blond enough). And Honehiem looks like he just wants to get out of there.

Anonymous2: ^ Van (or Von) Hohenheim was the name of a Russian alchemist and physician.
Trisha's last name is Elric, it's not Hoho's last name.

Anonymous3: Xarkana: It's even stated in either the first anime or brotherhood/manga (can't remember) that Elric is Trisha's maiden name.

Too much back detail but nice art form.

Anonymous6: Hohenheim had no name to begin with. I'd remember the very first homunculus gave him the name "Van Hohenheim". So his full name would be Van Elric or Van Hohenheim-Elric.

Anonymous7: Anon5: His name would not have Elric anywhere in it. Hohenheim is not part of his first name, his entire first name is just Van. Hohenheim is the last name. Brotherhood even brought this up when people learned Ed and Al were his kids and they said they took their mother's name after Hohenheim left.

Anonymous8: Yeah Hoenheims name was Slave Number 23

deathstriker: It was either Hohenheim or Theofrastus Bombardus. I would go with the first one to be honest.

Anonymous9: Anon 2 is close. deathstriker refers to more of the name. The name comes from Phillipus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von (of) Hohenheim also known as Paracelsus the great. Paracelsus was of German origin. He was a master of Medicine and Alchemy, which in those days was basically the name for scientific investigations of any kind. For more info just look him up on wikipedia or somthing under Paracelsus.

Anonymous10: Currently half a million souls are watching Elric or Alphonse be created. Not sure if that's a gift or curse

Anonymous11: He's in pain. She's probably fucked him ten times already. Look how red and swollen his poor cock is. The tightness of her pussy is probably agonizing. This is his only true love, so he'll do anything to satisfy her, including torture his own dick.
