Anonymous5(4): Dr.Comet is DNP because he thinks he has some right to charge people for intellectual property HE DOES NOT OWN. The sad part is, people still buy the shit.
Anonymous6: How dare he take money for shit he spent time drawing?? I want these assholes to draw shit i fap to for FREE because i have an inflated sense of entitlement on the internet.
Anonymous7(4): I don't mind them taking commissions and even having paysites.
What I do mind is the idea that a porn artist has the right to dictate what is done with their work when it involves IP that they have no rights over.
Basically, the guys have no right to demand that their work be DNP, as in a court of law, they'd be up shit's creek.

Killamajig: It would be churlish to 'translate' Freezer's remark to suggest that once you steal something on the internet it's yours and no-one is allowed to take it from you.
So nobody point out how intellectually and legally indefensible his position is, okay? It's rude.
Anonymous8(6): And if artists didn't draw copyrighted characters, they then would have to draw "generic" porn, which would basically kill rule 34.
Also, it's just a god damn drawing, one picture in an ocean of billions. Why weep over not seeing "this" particular picture when you can choose so many others?
Anonymous9(4): Plenty of artists draw excellent stuff with no paysite bullshit attached.
Look at Incognitymous, a superior artist, who doesn't have some smug attitude or sense of entitlement.
AwesomeArtist was another good one, albeit chickening out a little over his professional career.
Arabatos, The Duke, Big Mansini, etc...
Even Zone, who functions as a pay-artist with labor intensive flashes, doesn't act like a tool about the work being distributed.
Killamajig: Yeah, I'd noticed that, though you seemed to be more defending the right to profit from piracy. I'm just suggesting that pirating it a second time is of neutral moral value, given they have no actual rights to profit from the material.
Anonymous15: Eh, the fact of the matter is that legally, he's not allowed to profit off of IP that isn't his. That is to say, if the right people were to hear about this, Reiq would be in serious trouble for getting payment for selling pictures of a character he doesn't own. Drawing them without clothes doesn't entitle him to profit. It's not being entitled on our part; it's knowing that Reiq's a scumbag for thinking he can profit off of someone else's IP.
