NobleR2096: @Anonymous: It was technically him AND Peter who did it, because Peter liked her suit, and in turn, Venom copied it.... so are both of them thieves?
Anonymous2(1): @NobleR2096: Well it’s just one of Peter’s suits but yeah, Venom’s whole thing depends on it. And he becomes this big thing meanwhile Julia is more obscure than Jessica Drew. She should probably fire her agent.
Anonymous3(1): @NobleR2096: Some know her but she isn’t huge. Also not sure if Madame Web is a really active role that’s gonna help her in the long run.
Anonymous6(1): @NobleR2096: Comics sales numbers aren’t what they used to be and I think the only spider lady they have any real intention of pushing forward is someone really popular with the masses and have numbers backing them. Like Gwen maybe. That girl completely overshadowed all the other spider-girls and women before her.
NobleR2096: @Anonymous: She definitely has. There's been no word on that Olivia Wilde-directed (and presumably also starring) Jessica Drew film for years, which is a huge shame. She'd be perfect for the role.
Anonymous7(1): @NobleR2096: I’m not sure what Sony has in store but I don’t doubt that’s an idea they have. They’ll pretty much try anything. Which wouldn’t be such a bad thing if that studio knew what it was doing and put out quality projects consistently. I’d heard that they had a Silk film and a Sable and Cat picture. Personally, I’d be interested in a May Parker, Spider-Girl and daughter of Pete and MJ story. That or a Noir, 2099 or the Japanese Spider-Man that rides motorcycles, operates a big mech and fights aliens. All in the right hands of course.
Anonymous8(1): @NobleR2096: That or just animated but yeah. It would probably be quite expensive in either case. I just feel like there’s more freedom to get weird and creative when it’s not a live action venture.
Anonymous9(1): @NobleR2096: Good to know at least someone over there has some good ideas and sense. Even though part of me thinks the hundreds of spiders running around is getting sort of old hat and kinda cheapens the character and the uniqueness of his abilities somewhat.
Anonymous10(1): @NobleR2096: Really could’ve used that for the Carnage one. Who knows, maybe they’ll bring him back because they realize he’s too marketable a villain to not use again. Or just go with Anti-Venom, Toxin, Poison or Knull. I guess maybe you don’t really need Carnage after all.
Anonymous11(1): @NobleR2096: Or Morbius. Not that blood and violence would’ve made the script any better. But it sorta helps the movie a bit. I try and imagine Logan with all of the brutality cut and how much of a lesser final product it would’ve been. If your shit is good, people are gonna want to watch it regardless of rating.
