Anonymous1: This is a picture from the now defunct dofus-hentai site, with the original site url deleted, picture slightly resized, and the "homard" logo added. Unless someone links to artist source, I'm calling plagarism.
Anonymous2: Plagiarism would imply that he draw something taking heavy inspiration, whereas he just deleted the original signature and slapped his instead. It's not plagiarism, it's art theft.
Thank you for not remembering the artist name mentioned in the dofus-hentai post that introduced this pic, nor noticing that a higher-res pic without resizing artifacts must mean whoever made it had access to a higher res version than the one I originally offered to that site.
To help fuel further indignation, please find attached an original res partial sample of that pic with a few color layers turned off for the lulz, with the added expression of all of the artist's consideration for your watchful eye. Doubtlessly I must have stolen it too.
Anonymous6(1): Dear homard: the site went down under for a long time now, and I don't remember it ever mentioning the artist name. The original picture didn't have the artist' name on it, just the dofus-hentai blog link. Also, this version is not significantly bigger, you can easily achieve that with resizing and jpeg artifact removal, therefore it wasn't conclusive proof that you have the original source file. Furthermore, I've looked and I haven't found any galleries or even mentions of a hentai artist named "homard" - upstart art thieves usually have no galleries, just a random stolen picture. So yeah, all signs pointed to it being art theft.
If this isn't the case, then I apologize. Ironically, I actually like your style - I wouldn't have called on this otherwise.
homard: You overestimate the capabilities of resizing, and just because you don't remember it doesn't mean the fucking tag and article weren't there. I don't have time to scour the whole net for a remnant of it since none of the wankers that visited the site ever though to write down names (well, the texts were in french, I guess, so of course foreigners wouldn't pay attention) if they weren't written right next to their fap material but I'll note the first result of a simple search in google at least acknowledges the tag existed:

You won't find any gallery because there is no gallery. I took up that nick for D-H, made that pic for D-H and later in the year when I had a second pic in the pipeline the first C&D hit the fan and I decided to step away and see how it'd turn out, and we all know how it turned out.
Anonymous7(1): I think it's you who underestimates resizing, combined with filters in photoshop (even a simple sharpen filter). Smaller increases can be easily faked, and the picture quality wasn't that much greater either. (yes, I did look at the pixels)
Excuse me for not knowing enough french to keep track of every name on a now defunct site, that I scarcely visited to begin with (you'll find that most people interested in the Dofus world, outside France, know of it because of the Wakfu animated show, and not the mmorpg). A site that is responsible for h-foundry having a ban on Ankama related material, and paheal had to remove a ton of content as well, which is by now mostly re-added. And the site being down just meant that there was no way to prove anymore that it's indeed your picture (which made it more susceptible for theft).
I think you should cool it down a little, since it was you who had to prove that the art was yours. That could've been done in many ways in advance as well - posting the pic on D-H with your name on the picture, like other artists did, for example. Or uploading a version that was so clearly higher quality that there can be no doubt in the first place. Even just posting a message that "yeah, I did this piece for dofus-hentai a year ago" could've done it too - art thieves are not so forthcoming to actually engage in significant debate, since it can make it obvious that they lie. Remember, this is the Internet, everyone can pretend to be anything, and art theft is more common than you think.
And I stress again, I called art theft on this because I actually didn't want to see your art being stolen. I had no way of knowing that you were the real artist, and I did actually try to look around.
homard: Anon, so you're saying your lack of knowledge is proof enough to accuse people of theft. Not knowing who macde it means a signature must be theft? This is madness (this is interneeeeeeeet, I guess).
And a simple line wouldn't have done it, not if a higher quality pic didn't.
Anonymous8: Ok, instead of partaking in pointledd internet fight, would you mind uploading a better res of this pic ? (the one in the link from your first post, but actually finished)
homard: Nah, it's fine enough, there's no details that'd warrant a better precision. There'll probably be a pic that deserves widescreen in a few weeks though.
Anonymous12: Nah, Myssai (the name you're searching for) was the site admin, and although he was an artist too he had recruited a few others, including Krakensan and Homard.
