Anonymous6: being pansexual is the social norm for alternia, presumably because it doesn't affect reproduction. So it's less pansexual as, 'don't care about gender in reference to other troll's attractions.' this doesn't mean trolls can't end up only being attracted to one gender. i think kanaya is by Word of God, a lesbian but it doesn't matter in troll society to label it. of course this doesn't matter as much when people are making fancontent, but this person decided to keep it more canon-compliant.
