Anonymous5: Anon 4, only high pitched noises attract the horde, such as the peeping on the pipe bomb, or a car alarm. Loud noises in general don't attract them.
Gelatinous: I usually don't like to get involved in dumb internet chat or forum arguments, but anonymous 17/18 you're the dumbass. You've forgotten about the 2nd stage of Death Toll with the sewer bridge that makes a loud screech, and the 2nd stage of Blood Harvest when you open the fire door, or the other part with the train car that breaks the bridge.
Vorin: Dude one of your arguments, the fire door, is proving him right. If you actually had your volume up you would of noticed a repetitious pinging noise. Which is what they are attracted to. Loud noises alert them to your presence, repeating high-pitched noises pisses them off.
Anonymous19: I believe that you are both wrong, I have studied the behavior of the "norm" Zombies and I play Left 4 Dead probably more than anyone because I am a Zombie fanatic, and I have noted that the Things that set them off are Loud High Pitched noises with a large echoing effect.
