Anonymous3: Just a random memory and guess, there was a TV show years ago called Birds of Prey, Bat girl was an adult and also in a wheelchair, possibly played by Dina Meyer. As for canon-ness of it, I dont know

Anonymous4: In the comic story "The Killing Joke", the Joker shot Barbara Gordon through the spine, crippling her and leaving her wheelchair bound. Barbara realized she could still fight crime in her own way and took on the persona of "Oracle" and became an information broker of sorts.
