Maskarade: I haven't bothered to ask, so I'm gonna ask as question that makes it sound like I've been living under a rock for some months: What the fuck is up with calling this Porkymon instead of Pokémon?
PinkBallons: @Maskarade: Nintendo was getting annoyed that Paheal was showing up before their official websites in search results, so they asked that something be done about it. Changing the tag solves the issue without removing all the pronz.
Tiragon: arse, That story is still so funny to me. Nintendo knows that Porkyman has almost 60000 images, but didn't really do anything about it (aside from asking something be done).
PinkBallons: @Tiragon: They didn't do anything because they have no real case; the images are protected by parody laws. If the Paheal staff did nothing, Nintendo could have sued, but they wouldn't have won. They have enough money to bankrupt Paheal in the process of defending themselves, though.
