Thumper: @CannonBall1850: no, can't do it. the editing I did took over an hour and a half. I split the gif into individual frames and re-worked them in PSP, then took them over to 'animation shop' and sorted out the animation timing and did some pixel editing there. to do what you're suggesting would be to re-draw the bulk of the image twenty times over. and I kinda suck at that type of drawing. I do have some passable skill at creating/editing gifs from pre-existing gif images, movie files, flash movies/games and so on.
