jubilation_t_cornpone: For the life of me, I don't know why artists get obsessed about uploading their own pics. This site isn't like HF or DA or FA, where the artist has a "gallery". Here, the majority of pics are uploaded by someone other than the artist. The "gallery" is the tag.

On this site, the only person who cares who uploaded a pic is the uploader of the pic. No one else gives a shit. People find the pics by tag. They won't search for "user=xxx" when the tag is shorter. They will respond to comments by the artist just as they do on those other sites. Exactly what is different between this and a "gallery"?

jubilation_t_cornpone: Also, there is one absolutely foolproof way for an artist to ensure that he is always the one to do the upload. Put it here FIRST. Then it is in fact impossible for anyone to beat you to the punch.
