This is how we’re going to hold the line and begin pushing back. It’s going to be ridiculously ugly. The beast that is social justice elitism is not going to go peacefully, nor is it going to change its tactics. We’re going to see that monstrous, flailing attempt to shame us into compliance continue. We’re going to see the accusations and whining, damseling and demonization all accelerate as the elites try to smash the resistance without understanding why it exists. Gaming journalism has always been corrupt. Since the early 80's with the first magazines on the subject it's been corrupt. Internet gaming journalism has also always been corrupt, especially corrupt. Also, Kotaku has always been shit. If this is the moment you realized that the whole thing of Kotaku and gaming journalism is a bunch of crap, you are kinda slow. The Zoe Quinn thing is a poor example of corruption at best. And Quinn wouldn't be the corrupt one; she's be exploited. It's the journalist job to resist corruption. This is regardless of gender; if it was a female journalist with a relationship it would be her responsibility.
But, as this comic illustrates, the blame of this is put entirely on Quinn. It's slut shaming at it's worst.
