it displays like this:

  • third item

you can add as many lines as you like there between the 'list' codes just be sure to preface them each with the
  • bullet tag. 
    [i]italicizes the parsed text[/i]
    italicizes the parsed text 
    [b]emboldens the parsed text[/b]
    emboldens the parsed text to make an url text link: 
    [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UE-rhcFfOEA]I Have the Phaser, Captain[/url]
    it'll render to this: I Have the Phaser, Captain you can also mix codes, like parsing the line of text in the url code to italicize/embolden it, or even do both. the 
    [quote]whatever text/codes[/quote]
