jubilation_t_cornpone: It doesn't matter. We don't have a rule against that, and don't consider it art theft. However, the original artist is supposed to be tagged. If he isn't tagged, the pic will be deleted as art theft.
jubilation_t_cornpone: I don't care about your tag. You can use whatever you want. However, you still haven't tagged the original artist. If you don't do that, the pic will be deleted.
Kaktusjuice: Still not his art. He did not do this kind of thing on the original and someone took it an modified it. So this is not his art. This is some edited one. But not his.
Mance: @Kaktusjuice: So there we have the artist specifically complaining because his name isn't tagged, and your response to that is to MAKE SURE he isn't tagged.
Since this seems to be the only way to get this thing away from my name, I did asked to get to name out of the tag. Sorry if my Picture wasn't clear, I'm a bit pissed at the moment. :)
Now, I just made this account for make sure this " edit " is removed because I don't want it under MY name.
This was modified without my permission, and I would like to have it removed. Since I don't take ownership over this edit, I would like to not be tagged with this.
Kaktusjuice: @Mance: Will that help Darves understand that I don't want my name under that thing he just edited without my permission ? If it does, I'll gladly do it.
Noka: @Arnachy_bunny: ...Either Kaktus just trolled everyone hard by saying what he said, implying he's you, or you're Kaktus and really fucked up and are trying to save face now.
jubilation_t_cornpone: Ah, so we are having a tag war here. Didn't look at the history, didn't know the artist tag was being removed. Locked the tags, so that's the end of that.
What is the issue here? The whole point of forcing him to use his own tag in addition to yours is to show people that it is an EDIT and therefore not your fault.
As far as having it removed, the following is in the FAQ:
My coloring and/or edit of another artist's image was deleted by request of that artist. Why did he do that? How can I get my edit on the site?
Many artists don't mind quality edits/colorings, but object to those that are poorly done. The reason should be obvious: people may think that they are responsible for the poor quality artwork. Most editors/colorists don't sign their work and are not tagged. So the original artist gets the blame if the picture is degraded by the edit/color. Or that's what s/he thinks will happen.
So the way to avoid having your derivative works deleted is to add yourself to the image tags, and ideally you should sign your work ("colored by xxx", "edited by xxx", or something similar). Simply adding a comment of "edit of >>123456", where the link points to the original pic, is sufficient to identify the pic as an edit. It goes without saying that you don't remove the original artist's signature, logo, or tag under any circumstances. This would be an addition. We will not delete the pic if it is clearly identified as an edit/coloring by someone other than the original artist, even if said artist requests that it be deleted.
Arnachy_bunny: @WalmartBob: I don't know this person. But if you do, please tell him to stop. ^^ Also thank for the reblog on my tumblr, I appreciate it.
jubilation_t_cornpone: @Arnachy_bunny: Bullshit! Are you totally unaware that admins can see IP addresses? So now you are guilty of having multiple accounts. And since you are arguing with yourself, that's samefagging, adding another violation.
Farfegnugen: @MisterJee: It's not that awful. It's a little blurry around the vag, but nothing that can't be sharpen up. Atleast there's some degree of talant here.
Kaktusjuice: @Farfegnugen: I only have one account. But that's actually quite flattering that you guys thought I was doing this little war all by myself. Good job guys.
jubilation_t_cornpone: @Kaktusjuice: Are you still trying to claim that? It's an outright lie. I told you, I can see the IP addresses. Anarchy_bunny and Kaktusjuice had the same one at the time you were samefagging. Even though you have switched to a different one now, no doubt switching to a device on another network, it's too late. That doesn't change the log. And there's also the timing. One logs off and the other logs on ~12 seconds later. Extraordinary coordination for "different people" in "different locations", don't you think?
Why don't you just give it up and admit that you're a samefag?
Mance: @Farfegnugen: Before the link was broken, it showed a screenshot of this page with red text it on saying "art thief", "ugly edit", and "name not in tags". And, amusingly, a red line censoring derpy's eyes.
jubilation_t_cornpone: LOL at the accusations of "art theft". That's when you claim you drew it. Darves set the "Arnachy_bunny" tag in the initial upload, as you can see in the tag history. It was the Arnachy_bunny/Kaktusjuice samefagging team that kept removing it.
I disabled the Arnachy_bunny account by changing the password, since multiple accounts are a rule violation. If it was deleted, the comments would go to anon and this thread would be more confusing than it is already.
Farfegnugen: Nah, Geocities has been long since gone. But it was a common thing to see people post about people being mean to them. Early blogging or whatever.

That's a pretty big indicator that none of the shit you're saying matters and that the original artist should be tagged.

Are you looking for a ban?

Unless I took a truckload of drugs, I didn't reblog a thing.
I think that's somewhat relevant...given he says "French Artist" right there on his tumbler...
