QwertyMaestro3: This is decent for a first try for drawing in MS Paint. You can use this drawing tutorial in order to vastly improve the quality of your drawings. AlbinoBlackSheep also has a few tutorials on hidden tools in MS Paint. Here are a few MS Paint tips:

  • Don't use the shape tools except for the aforementioned curved line tool. It breaks the visual consistency of the image.
  • Always have the actual proportions of Steve/Alex, and of actual humans. Always use a mix of both where appropriate so that elements don't conflict with each other.
  • The background should emphasize the subject, using darker/lighter colours, positioning of objects, etc.
