AMountainOfDewritos: I would say that, judging by the lack of blood, there was no impalement. I'd still imagine something like this would not be pleasant.
Anonymous2(1): @ZDragonX: Isn't it obvious? She's impossibly talented in a wide variety of areas. Like some how knowing how to both fly and repair the MILLENIUM FUCKING FALCON!!!!!! and using advanced force powers instantly. Both feats that should be impossible for her given her background.
appealus: @IM_IIHTARW: But she's a g-g-g-girl! The real reason so many people whine about Rey "letting the Force flow through her" like you're FUCKING SUPPOSED TO DO!
Iliketheweather: Well... if we assume the tentacle somehow has navigated her intestines instead of tearing right through them, there is still the matter of her oxygen supply. Which is now blocked. Dead.
IM_IIHTARW: @Iliketheweather: She's still conscious, therefore the tentacle hasn't been blocking her oxygen supply for very long or she would have passed out.
Anonymous3: why the fuck are you attractive and successful Africans arguing over if shes dead holy shit fucking stop just jerk off you fucking troglodytes
Anonymous4(3): Holy shit why are you attractive and successful Africans arguing over if she's dead or not, just jerk off to your fucking star wars porn you goddamn troglodytes
Anonymous6: Luke got his arse handed to him in his first fight with a Sith, while Rey took Emo Ren down (that one can pass a bit as she was shown to have battle experience, but she was a novice in the force whereas Kylo had something like more than a decade). Luke at least gave backstory that he had flight/shooting experience ("It's like shooting womp rats in my t-16 back home"), whereas Rey was stuck on her planet and unlikely to have been allowed to fly by anyone. Luke got training by a Jedi Grand Master before he started pulling any thought powers out (calling Leia), Rey just did it after getting her mind invaded once. So comparing her to him is hardly the same.
IM_IIHTARW: @Anonymous: Yes, Luke was taught mind powers, Rey had the mind powers demonstrated on her. and in her resistance to Ren's mind probing she was given a glimpse into his own mind. you don't think a person could figure out how to do a basic mind trick from that experience? Even if we just leave it at She's a natural prodigy when it comes to the force, that's just one thing. and being better than the rest at one thing is not a Mary Sue.
all the other skills she's shown, have a reasonable explanation. She's a decent fighter due to the rough lawless place she lives. she had a landspeeder so she has at least some piloting experience there. and her knowledge of the falcon's systems and layout and that fact that she knows the "owner" gives credence that she has been aboard the ship before, if not helped the guy work on the thing.
IM_IIHTARW: @Anonymous: Yup, but remember to just ignore the back pedaling at the end, because, shocker, Trilogy movies don't exposition the entire backstory of the main characters in the first installment.
Anonymous10: @IM_IIHTARW: fucking dumbass shithead. Stop talking shit and defending an obvious Mary Sue you blind fucking fanboy. She's NOWHERE NEAR what Luke was, and if you disagree you are wrong and retarded.
Anonymous11: Rey didn't fail once in the entire sequel trilogy. she pulls forcepowers out of her ass left and right and defeats kylo ren, a darkside force weilder that has trained his entire life, three times. once right after picking up a lightsaber for the first time ever, once after swinging the thing near a rock a couple of times. she can use force-persuation only hours after believing the force and the jedi to be a myth. she defeats the throne room guard with ease, she can swim even though she lived her entire life on a desert planet, in TROS R2D2 says sth and then poe ansers with "well rey isnt here, is she?" implying that rey is now a better pilot than poe, which was supposed to be his entire thing, on endor, she suddenly pulls out a ruler thingy from the stupid sith dagger and then just, out of nowhere tries to align it with the wreckabge and gets it right first try. this, @IM_IIHTARW, this is why rey is a mary sue.
