LadyStardust: Watership Down bloody traumatized me when I first saw it as a small child. The blood, the violence, the DEATH, my parents thought this was a good movie for my innocent little eyes to be watching?! SO MANY RABBITS IN PAIN! T.T
superhappy: It traumatized me too. Just like ANIMAL FARM.
Ah, the good old days where I hid under the coffee table, shivering with fear...
Wait. Oh god, I hope there's no Animal Farm 34...
Dagger: yeah it was kinda disturbing when i saw it in the late 80's, with the panic scenes, bloody combat and alot of deaths, but the russian(drunken?)seagull was cool.
Casperthy_Frendligost: You all have to remember that Fiver & Co. had to contend with a psychopathic rabbit who, THINKING he was protecting his clan from human interference , was destroying it ! Fiver & others also had to draw upon the legends and myths of the rabbits to give them guidance and hope in this crisis.
Oh, and Anonymous11 ? That was a real insult addressed to that psychopath rabbit, you quoted. I understand rabbit talk and, boy, what you said !
Eat dung, o stinking king !
sniperkitty11: D: god theres this many people with unmarred childhoods still? i clicked the link here for the first time and my childhood shot itself to save it the agony of a slow and painful death..
Anonymous23(4): OK, I just watched Watership Down. It's clearly targeted on a mature auditory, it deals with really serious and complex issues. Why would kids watch something like this? If this picture actually ruined your childhood blame yourself for having watched the movie when you only were kids.
it's so well drawn my childhood got a nosebleed
