Anonymous8: if you sneak up on super mutants with human captives having conversations they usually talk about "having fun" with the female captives. no kiddin. i heard it in the germantown police hq before saving red.
Anonymous12: Anon 13, Mutants have genitalia and can have sex...Fallout 1 background is correct about your belief, but unfortunately, fallout 2 totally ignores that fact.
Anonymous13: Actually, your character CAN have sex with a Super Mutant in Fallout 2. Lose arm wrestling against Francis and...well you end up with a ball gag in your inventory. That's all I'll say on that subject.
Anonymous14: that is the thing that confuses me, in one part of the game it says that the supermutant will "have fun with them and unlike what anon 10 says that does still mean raping them and then killing them, but there can be female supermutants (from when u save fawkes(p.s. fawkes is/was a girl) she loses some parts so does that mean they get both a penis and a vagina or do they keep there original sexual organ that they had on their crotch
Anonymous19: To clear it up Super Mutants do have genitals and are male and female (thought impossible to tell) the one's the don't have genitals and A sexually reproduce are the one's created by FEV exposure. FEV mutants are brown, super mutants are green. see vault 87's computers for details. and no fawkes is not an FEV mutant she is a super mutant.
Super Mutants are ALL created by FEV. And yes, they're sterile, but at least the West Coast variety retain their sexual organs even if they're sterile. They're sterile because the FEV virus repairs damaged cells constantly, and because the reproductive genes are half they're percieved as damage by the FEV and repaired. That doesn't mean they can't sex things up, only that there aren't going to be any buff green toddlers eating the other daycare residents.
Anonymous23: Anon25 No, Fawkes was, is and always will be a male. It was confirmed by the Bethesda. So whoever tells you he's a chick is either lying or just retarded.
Anonymous24: If anyone remembers Fallout:Tactics, there was a stage where to get into the super mutant reseacrh base, you have to kill a FEMALE (boobs and all) super mutant boss.
Anonymous29: I can't help but join in, I figured that the supermutants in fallout 3 can reproduce but don't because of mental damage wanting to turn normal humans into mutants through the FEV does I ween?
Anonymous30: Anon29 is correct. The actual creators of Fallout stated that Fawkes was a boy, and that his VA was mistaken when they claimed that Fawkes was a woman.
FEV removes secondary sex characteristics, although I'm not sure about the main ones. They may have genitals, but are more than likely sterile, which is why they have to change people into Super Mutants.
Anonymous31: All y'all attractive and successful Africans is forgetting Marcus from Fallout 2. If you have him join your party, then take him to New Reno and get him a whore, he comments on how he hopes thta he didn't get her pregnent. If you ask him later, he says some super mutants are no longer sterile. Mostly the smart ones who have lived for a long time.
Anonymous44: Hey, about the sterility thing, I found this explanation on the fallout wiki. This may just shed some light on subject.
'The mutation produced by the FEV in this case has some severe side effects. Chief among them is sterility. As the gametes of the reproductive system consist of 'half-cells' comprising only 23 of the normal 46 chromosomes, they are perceived as 'damaged' cells by the FEV's integrated genetic sequences, which "repairs" them by restoring the missing chromosomes, which essentially renders the mutants sterile since their gametes lose the ability to recombine with other sex cells in sexual reproduction. Other side effects of this form of FEV infection include an alteration of the pigment cells of the epidermis. While the super mutants originating from Mariposa are sterile, they do not lose their sexual organs, but they do lose their secondary sexual characteristics, such as breasts. In contrast, East Coast super mutants lose all visible sexual characteristics.'
Anonymous46: so just to clear everything up, Mariposa Super Mutants (in fallout 1 and 2) can have sex. In fact you can end up becoming the sex slave of one called Francis for a night in Fallout 2, if you challenge him to an arm wrestling match and lose. You wake up with a ball gag in your inventory... kinky.
Anonymous50: Super mutants can't have kids {179}{}{Additionally, as the gametes of the reproductive system consist of 'half-cells' using split DNA, they could be perceived as 'damage' by FEV, which would 'repair' them, rendering the subject sterile.} and lost their visible sexual differences, but not lost their genitals {135}{Mast11}{Preposterous! The FEV-2 virus doesn't destroy the reproductive organs of those it mutates.}, that's different things. It is rather a "cloaca" for both equally looking sexes, inside of which male or female genitalia are hidden. True for all supermutants, east and west. Science, bluh.

Let's see some rule 34 of that.
