Anonymous2: @Anonymous: Probably won't get it anytime soon. Anaxus hates Korra and doesn't give a flying fuck what anyone asks for. I respect enough that he makes what he likes, but when almost exclusively it's just more Katara over and over and over, that respect goes out the window.
narsaku: @Anonymous: Everyone with a brain hates her, at least what she symbolizes. To think we could've gotten a proper book 4 and continuation of the real series instead of... Sigh.... sigggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :'(
shinazuka: @narsaku: The show was ended after season 3 because the creators wanted to focus on the live-action movie instead of a fourth season, and you don't even need to have a brain to know how well THAT worked out.
Anonymous4(3): @shinazuka: They were listed as “executive producers” which is just a fancy way of saying “We have to credit these guys because they created the source material that the movie is bastardizing.”
Anonymous5: @narsaku: Well, anyone with a brain should be blaming them for how they screwed up her story and character for whatever the fuck they originally gave us. Removed her actual character arc for...randomized events? Even they admit that they wrote as they went along during Book 2, so eat your heart out, once again the character is blamed but the real culprits are the people who came up with great ideas, qualities, and flaws but couldn’t try write the development for such things. Sad that people can’t see that a character can’t control how they are written...
Also, to showcase how much they ‘love’ the Avatar series they are heading back onto the live action scene on Netflix for another ATLA to milk the ever-living hell out of the series. They just go with whatever makes them money and they’ve already proven that you can’t trust them with their own damn material. Look at how the writing went south for LoK and the Avatar comics overall. If Aaron Ehasz was available, a sensible Legend of Korra remake would have been acceptable, but too fucking late for something/someone who could have been great. That’s what happens idiots write.
shinazuka: @Anonymous: However they were credited or however you simplify a job description is irrelevant- the head writer and director of the series is saying outright that, while the director of the movie wanted them to make a book 4, they wished to focus on the movie instead. It wasn't just "because they made the original" thing- they had some significant degree of involvement, whether or not that had a significant sway on the final product.
@Anonymous: Well yeah, of course they wrote book 2 as they went. LoK was supposed to just be one season, then Nick threw three more at them, only to shove the show onto web-only because whoops the show we forced more of isn't doing as well as one that was planned and executed with the pacing the writers intended! Not even going to comment on judging an adaptation we haven't seen a single frame of yet.
narsaku: @shinazuka: Damn, seriously? I had no idea they ended ATLA for that, I thought they just didn't wanna continue after the climax and only accepted it's continuation if it was a new series cus zero soul, max greed. Oh well, movie was an abomination anyways.
Anonymous6: Atla ended because everything was tied up nicely. Korra on the other hand was a mess. And the only 'redeeming' thing was that they threw a same-sex relationship at the last second to save face on their abysmally tanking series. There were never any plans to make a 4th season of Aang and crew. And if there were it was not taken seriously enough to greenlight and it's a good thing to. It would had been a repeat of what Korra was.
narsaku: @Anonymous: As far as I can remember there was a 4th season planned to flesh out Zuko's family and missing mother but it was denied and they came up with Korra, but honestly like all activist propoganda I believe nothing. :/ Well, at least there's the graphic novels. Thankfully the voice acting in ATLA is so fantastic I could hear them speak while reading. XD
Anonymous7(6): Honestly, if the novels are what they planned for Zuko's mother I am kind of glad it stayed just in comic form. The whole story 180'd Zuko's mom from the caring mother who would do anything for her children to a selfish lady who ran away from her kids.
Anonymous8: @narsaku: "Everyone with a brain"? How arrogant can you be? Because some people actually do like her, they're stupid? You're basically saying , "Everyone who doesn't share my opinion is stupid."
