Even Sindel who originally killed herself to get away from him or prevent other realms to having to deal with that dickhead or something came to love her abuser which means she died for some other reason they’ll have to explain. I guess they needed her to die for the events of MK3 to take place in where she kills almost half of the roster because the bad guys needed even more people who can’t win fights in story mode on their side.
