Ridges: Why the hell are all posts with Caustic in them now tagged "Mikhail_Caustic", and can't be changed? Like, where did the 'Mikhail' part come from? If we were using his real name (which we aren't, since all the other Apex Legends characters use their codenames when they have one), it would be Alexander Nox. Can someone change this, please?
Ridges: @Farfegnugen: Except, again, that flies in the face of all the other Apex Legends characters who have codenames. Pictures of Mirage are tagged as such, not as "Elliot Witt." Same holds true for pretty much every Legend except Loba and Gibraltar, who go by their given names and are tagged as such.
Is there some issue with just tagging them "Caustic"? There's no other character from another series that uses that tag. Seems like using the "Alexander_Nox" tag is just uselessly complicated, and ultimately pointless. Unless I'm missing something here.
Farfegnugen: @Ridges: You know what's a "fun" thing to deal with, people that a name a certain way and another group that wants it the other way. I could just change his name to be Apex_Legends_Male_Player_Character and that way nobody will be happy.
Ridges: @Farfegnugen: Look, my initial complaint was because, for some reason, the tag for the character Caustic had been changed to "Mikhail_Caustic" with no way for non-admin users to edit the tag, despite that not at all being the character's name. Instead of just resetting the tag to "Caustic" and maintaining the same tagging style done for the rest of the characters (codenames where applicable, unless the character goes by their given/real names), you chose to give change the tag to his given/real name, which again, goes against the tagging pattern for every other character from the game.
Once again, I'll ask with honesty, is there an issue with just tagging the character "Caustic"? That tag was used in the past, before my initial post/report bringing up the incorrect "Mikhail_Caustic" tag. Either way, if you want to keep the tag as "Alexander_Nox," then by all means do so, but by that same token, all the other characters with codenames should be changed to their given/real names if this site is going to maintain any kind of tagging continuity for Apex Legends, as is already maintained with pretty much any other series' characters.

Now then, we lean toward the full name, whatever that may be at this fucking point. Just make a report, we will review, and make the changes as needed. Hell, if you find solid proof of their name is, you are welcome to include that. Don't count on Wikia being the best source. I guess don't count one name is the actual name, or the name people are happy with.
