Anonymous4: Anon3, no. Just.. no. There is no skull in Alien on the head. I've seen it enough times to know. I'm assuming this is a reference to the hybrid alien at the end of "Alien: Ressurection".
Anonymous5: ^See the documentaries for Alien--there IS a skull in the original design behind the dome that covers the length of the alien's head...it's only semi-transparent, so it's meant to work on a subconscious level. James Cameron removed the dome and had the alien head remodeled somewhat so that all he could avoid breakage during an action scene and he liked the ridges better. The skull comes back in Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem with the Predalien design, and just as subtle. The more you know...
