Anonymous1: With how fit and self-confident she is in her own body that she’s willing to strip down to her underwear in front of an entire crowd of people, she should retire from fighting and become a lingerie model.

Crimson-Snow: @Anonymous: Honestly would have been great for her to play a bigger role and maybe have joined the main cast. May have been a good girl for Roshi really but god forbid he actually get a wife lol. But the irony is there were actually a lot of girls who liked Roshi before. Some of you may remember he had some very sweet and cute fangirls during some of the earlier tournaments. He also had the love interest Fanfan during his youth who may be some relation to Ranfan.

Anonymous2(1): @Crimson-Snow: At least Roshi gets shit to do even this late in the game. I mean Chiaotzu might as well have just stayed dead the first time but they wished him back at least twice for some reason. I mean Yamcha, Tien and him really don’t have anything to do anymore. The most impressive thing Tien ever got to do during Z was slowing down Cell long enough so Veggie head can screw things up like a total doofus.

Crimson-Snow: I'd say the most impressive thing Tien did was actually in the Bojack movie when he fought so valiantly against Trunks and Trunks had to go Super Saiyan to beat him. It's noteworthy that at that time Trunks was a lot stronger than 2nd form Cell Tien held off earlier. At least Yamcha got to do SOMETHING in the Moro arc but I really wish Yamcha , Tien and Chiaotzu would get to beat some truly important opponents. Yamcha's biggest accomplishments imo are him beating Olibu and Gorilla in other word during Buu Saga , beating some of Moro's guys , helping fight the Cell Jrs with Tien , beating Krillin in a sparring match during Cell arc , and fucking Bulma an Maron lmao. It's really noteworthy that going by him beating Olibu and Gorila Yamcha would have kicked Cell and Dabura's asses in a fight and was stronger than ss2 Teen Gohan in the Buu Saga.

Crimson-Snow: Oh and I forgot when he made Recoome his fucking bitch lol.

Anonymous3(1): @Crimson-Snow: Well people debate the canonicity of some of those achievements. Technically they did happen, although Toriyama had nothing to do with that. It’s kind of apparent that he was just done with them already after a certain point. The same way he stopped pushing Gohan after he realized he rather focus on Goku again. This kind why I like Future Trunks and Bardock’s movie, death actually sticks and it matters and not everything revolves around Goku even though it kinda does because he’s the last hope of the Saiyans against Frieza and the possibility of a better future for Trunks.

Anonymous4: @Crimson-Snow: Isn't that all dumb filler that makes zero sense in the actual story? No way Yamcha is anywhere close Dabura, Cell or SSJ2 Gohan or Tien forcing trunks to go ssj.

Anonymous5(1): @Anonymous: Yeah but Krillin who hasn’t kept up with his training managed to do pretty well against Goku Blue even if he was holding back. Power levels are just wherever they need to be at the time for a scene to happen.

Crimson-Snow: @Anonymous: Yeah Dragon Balls biggest weakness is that power levels are not only inconsistent and change almost weekly but every fucking thing focuses on them. Give me something like Hokuto No Ken or even Bleach or Naruto that have fights that aren't just " power level is higher I win " type of bullshit. Also like you say death holds no fucking weight in Dragon Ball universe and that doesn't exactly make for interesting drama lmfao. For me the last straw was when they took Trunk's victory against Zamasu and gave it to Zeno because Zeno had a higher power level.

Crimson-Snow: @Anonymous: Guess what dude ... you're dead wrong even if those scenes aren't canon and here is why , Yamcha beat Mora's men and I guarantee those guys are stronger than Dabura was back in the Buu Saga. You may hate him and think he's weak ( probably a Vegeta fag lol ) but he's a hell of a lot tougher than you'd like to admit and the most stand up guy of the entire cast.

Crimson-Snow: @Anonymous: Dude it's really not that stupid that'd he'd be that strong. I mean you need to remember while he had mostly given up fighting he trained here and there just in case there was an emergency. Krllin was defitly strong enough to beat Dabura in the Buu Saga but he was caught in that stupid spit attack which also happened to Piccolo lol. What're you gonna tell me Piccolo is too weak to beat Dabura too next? Yamcha was always around the same level as Krillin throughout ALL parts of Dragon ball. You know it's funny everyone makes fun of that Saibamen fiasco but Yamcha beat the thing and then it used a cowardly suicide attack which Piccolo admitted would have killed ANY of the earth fighters there ( himself included. )

Crimson-Snow: @Anonymous: You actually believe Dabura can beat Piccolo man?

Anonymous6(1): @Anonymous: Well the problem with the power ramp up in Dragon Ball is that any villain will become completely eclipsed and insignificant in the long run, no matter how fearsome or impressive they were at the time. And Dabura was thrown away almost as soon as he was introduced. Piccolo, 17 and any other fighter important enough to actually get screen time surely should’ve already surpassed him by now. Even Krillin. If it weren’t for Frieza realizing he could train, he probably would be worthless because the moment Trunks and the Androids came along, he was a total chump. The same thing goes for Goku and his transformations, SSJ was an epic moment but now kids can just do it and it’s relegated to back tingles. I don’t know how long ultra instinct is gonna be hype for because as the trend goes, it ain’t gonna last. The same way SSJ3, red and blue didn’t last.

Anonymous7: @Anonymous: True, there is an enormous power creep in DBZ, which makes lots of characters irrelevant and makes for shit story telling. But ssj2 Gohan from the Cell games was still a big deal during the beginning of the Buu arc. Vegeta said before the tournament he might be stronger than Gohan now, because he trained for 7 years and Gohan didn't, meaning he is still not sure if he is as strong as Gohan was seven years ago. Vegeta compared himself and Goku to ssj2 Gohan during the Cell arc when he and Goku fought in ssj2. And Piccolo stated Majin Vegeta was even stronger than Gohan during the Cell games when Vegeta fought the fat Buu, implying that's about the strongest he has seen till then.
So ssj2 Gohan, even if he was weaker by some degree was still not a complete pushover for people like Goku in ssj2 and Majin Vegeta. And Gohan could not beat Dabura, at least not without a hard fight that could go either way. No way Krillin, Yamcha, Tien and imo even piccolo are as strong as Gohan in ssj2, at least not in the Buu arc and for sure not after giving up on fighting like Krillin and Yamcha.
Super is a different animal all together as people are as strong as the plot demands seemingly out of nowhere and even without some alibi asspull power ups.

Crimson-Snow: @Anonymous: I definitely think it was Vegeta talking big as usual in all honesty. Piccolo has been stronger than him a number of times in the past and it's not like Piccolo did nothing for 7 years either.

Crimson-Snow: @Anonymous: Exactly story is TERRIBLE because of that kind of shit. But I really wouldn't be so quick to write Krillin or Yamcha and certainly not Tien off. The problem is as you said the power creep and the power levels being so inconsistent it makes things either pointless or too hard to gauge. I mean look at how much Frieza's strength grew in such a short time of training. It makes no sense unless he's the most gifted fighter of all Dragon Ball lol. What I don't get is why Cell hasn't tried to train some more but I guess him being locked up in Hell makes it difficult.
