Anonymous1: So does this just completely ignore the Otto becoming actually better as a person and understanding that he can’t really do what Peter does, conceding that Parker was indeed the Superior Spider-Man thing? So no character growth, change, progress, development and we’ve learned nothing. That’s perfect.

Freezer: @Anonymous: Does all that "Character Growth" actually count when said character literally stops existing in the end?

Anonymous2(1): @Freezer: Well, it is comics. When does a character ever really stays gone anymore? Namely a character that’s well known and has been around for over half a century. Not like Peter completely disappeared from the ordeal either. This really is just the Porkyman movie of being taught an important lesson, forgetting said lesson and essentially learning nothing in the end while carrying on doing the same thing you did before.
