Anonymous4: The scariest part is, depending on how vicious the DM is, shit like this can actually happen in the game. The rulebooks have fucking damage scores for digestive acids, and depending on how much health the character has left, it can take hours or even days to die. Only real hope is to hold onto your sword, and cut your way out from the inside.

Zaxares: @Anonymous: I actually had a player who was a Half-Fiend who got swallowed by a Purple Worm. With DR and resistance to acid, he was taking barely any damage inside and actually opted to NOT escape and just continue to deal damage to the Purple Worm from the inside (because its AC was much lower). :P
