I often like to explain how there are many female cartoon characters that I consider terribly designed. I also often consider showing my disapproval my drawing them in extreme rape porn, but that would be kind of silly. Why degrading the characters if only their creators are to blame? I therefore choose to reprimand their authors by showing and explaining how I would have designed their girls instead.
Lola Bunny could have been given a major role in her introduction movie. She could have been a legendary basketball player, a sport goddess of some kind, some sort of magic warrior, anything, but instead she was a hole. A hole for the main male character to drool and have erections over, and I firmly disapprove that. Her character made absolutely no sense in context. As far as I remember, they didn't need one more player, they didn't need a girl for the team for any reason, they just wanted to show breasts and Bugs reaction to them.
Krystal was actually going to be the main character of her videogame, and she originally looked like this. She could have been a mystical warrior, an able fighter that would have defended the weak against their oppressors, a model of feminine might, but instead she was a hole, at least in Starfox Adventures, a hole for the main male character to drool and have erections over. Her character lasted a few minutes on screen before being relegated to 'prize' status, to just a pair of mindless breasts Fox McCloud would idly crave and eventually get.
Berri was a mentally challenged, stereotypical blonde that made absolutely no sense in context, that not even her boyfriend drooled or had erections over, and that could have been deleted from her game and it actually would have improved. Instead, she should have been a hole. Don't get me wrong, I completely disagree with women being objectified, but I didn't buy a 'Mature' game for its poop jokes and censored swearing. I wanted porn, and Berri could have used it correctly. Give her a playable role, make her use her wits and body to waltz through places where Conker could not go, and make her save him every once in a while.

babomb: @Sintime: The name of the game they planned to have Krystal in was originally called “Dinosaur Planet” that was intended to be released on the N64. Originally Krystal was one of two playable characters, the other being her brother Saber you controlled. The Warp Stone that appeared in Star Fox Adventure was also originally meant to appear in it as a means to switch between the two characters during game play.
I remember seeing earlier demos of it before the GC was released and had high expectations for the game. But sadly somebody at Nintendo I heard commented on how the character Saber looked a lot like Fox McCloud and Nintendo just decided to scrap the game while it was in development and and adapted the story for their Star Fox release.
And although I'm a fan of Krystal I do feel as though Nintendo wasted the opportunity a creating an all new game franchise.
SpY: Or know that Dr.Jarvi's gallery on PedoBunny is filled with common furry bullshit. Whatever it thinks about anything is a waste of space, especially an advice how things should look by it's special mind. I done some drawings for practice or plain fucking around, not pointing out how things should or not look.
Sintime: ^ I assume everyone who uses "TLDR" incapable of reading a few lines of words must have some sort of mental block, also he's not pointing out how they should look exactly, he's stating how their characters started out with much potential and ended up being something that was incorporated to please the male fan-base.
Anonymous2: So the artist is upset that Lola wasn't a better role model (in a movie about Looney Tunes playing basketball with Michael Jordan), Krystal wasn't the lead in a crappy Zelda clone, and Conker's BFD wasn't pornographic enough.
… Okie dokie.
WCat: @babomb:
I wonder if Nintendo axed the original vision just to own the IP, but perhaps they had no idea they would sell their stock in Rare when the decision was made. I do pine for the original story, even though it may have been no better.
Anonymous4: Thank goodness they didn't do things your way and went with likeable and... in the case of conker, useable, characters. Unfortunately Lola did get changed to a shitty version in recent years, but then so did alot of good shows (teen Titans go, for example).
