FurryPaladin: Я ьидел несколько изображений которые Вывгят особенность достойнпй и здесв уже несколько лет адмистраторы коррумпированы я говорю вам повредить
Silent_Witness: @Faptacular: As much as it pains me to say so, I feel the same way. We have enough problems with the one planet we have already- let's work on sorting those out before adding another to the mix.
PinkBallons: People have an insatiable curiosity, and are always looking for something to hope for. Exploration is a way to fulfill both of those desires, and considering all but the most dangerous parts of our planet have already been explored, we have nowhere to go but out. If nothing else it's a great distraction for the masses, and, from the government's point of view, a great way to show off.
Faptacular: @jaycro: That's actually part of what I'm afraid of. That in the next few centuries we become the invading aliens that swoop in, conquer, strip the planet for resources and move on.
RogerTheRabbit: @Faptacular: Yeah, better just spend those money on more rockets and new yachts for the billionaires. I'm sure killing a few more Muslim goat herders will solve all your problems.
Anonymous18: Oooh! Ya'll so deep. Why don't you go ahead and get lost inside of your own "deep" anal cavities, you hipsty little pieces of shit? No one needs your pseudo-philosophy crap. I'd be happy to discuss over how idiotic you all sound, but quite frankly this is a porn site and no one gives a fuck.

Anonymous21(9): @Lapp: Titan (Saturn's primary moon) literally has *storms* of oil, *seas* of plant fertilizer, and *volcanoes* of liquid water. It also has an atmosphere twice as thick as Earth's, which means no risk of explosive decompression, no hazardous radiation, and next to no effort required to operate anything airborne. Now, getting there requires six years of energy-intensive travel through hard vacuum, so it might not be an investment goldmine for anyone on Earth. For anyone on Titan, though...
Anonymous22: why explore, why look for new things? Clearly the way we've been doing things are the best and nothing good can ever come of learning more
PinkBallons: @Anonymous: Stagnation leads to death. If we aren't moving forward and adapting, humans will eventually be faced with something that will destroy us.
Anonymous27: Exploratory science is the most important branch of science - it's explorers that built the microscope and the light bulb - the unknown is by far the biggest wealth of knowledge, illusive yet grand in it's rewards. Everything from scratch resistant glass to shoe insoles were pioneered by space program tech, and that tech continues to find new everyday uses (both normal and bizarre, like finding water in the kuwaiti desert)
The point is exploratory science (whether it be in space, the ocean or the lab) is not an assured path - rewards are not seen, but found, and new hope for humanity lies in ever exploring the world around us.
Doctor_E: @Anonymous: Right. However, the problem lies within our society actually using this information for correct purposes; Unless it is a gradual thing, we will not be able to accept and use this information properly.
Doctor_E: @Anonymous: Curiosity did kill the cat- but, however, exploration increases our knowledge of the world. Increasing our knowledge of the world increases the capability to tamper with it. The ability to tamper with the world around us allows inventions to form.

Inventions = Society Improvements
Society Improvements = Comfort
Comfort (helps at least to) = Happiness
Happiness is a good thing.
