Anonymous3: that's supposed to be april o'neil? looks like a generic teen...
and the clip i saw of this show with the turtles discovering pizza was pretty terrible. A real step backwards in cgi character design and animation...
Anonymous5: Don't like the new April. She could at least resemble April with a similar hairstyle. So I guess she's now some generic, boring teen cunt who somehow befriended the turtles through being a boring fucking cunt. She's obviously not a reporter, I'm guessing.
Comixfan: Outstanding. I freaking love the hell out of the new April. I'm only surprised that there isn't more R34 of her at this point (what there is isn't all that great save for this piece and maybe one other I've seen on HF) considering how equal part cute and kinda sexy she is with her short-shorts and leggings.
Hoping they actually have the balls (it's Nickelodeon so it's 50/50) to develop the "romance" between her and Donny. I mean, we'll never see anything like the above happen obviously (or even have it implied) but if they throw her at Casey Jones I'll be fairly disappointed. It's a new TMNT, try something new while still paying homage to the original.
Only wish they would have made the number on her chest a 6 as a nod to the original April and her being a Reporter for Channel 6.
ProSemiticNazi: For whatever reason this makes me want to see a piece consisting of this new teenaged April O' Neil wearing the 80's versions form-fitting yellow jumpsuit. If anyone sees this and wants to draw it, I don't care if you give me credit for the drawing or not. I'd be nice though.
Anonymous9: Nickelodeon -- a children's network -- made April a teen because they thought it would be weird for an adult woman to be hanging out with teen males. Despite being teens in the other TMNT versions, the turtles didn't seem much like teens. Nick could have made April an adult, & make her Splinter's companion & love interest, with neutral interaction with the teen turtles.
I'm looking forward to April's ninja training.
Nick's TMNT artwork & comic effect is good but April's face is more on the average side. Her body & clothes are good. American cartoons tend to be realistic in terms of most people not being beautiful, unlike Japanese anime where people tend to be beautiful. I'd prefer April with a cuter face.
I approve of the Donatello & April pairing!

As if the fact that April was 16 wasn't good, the fact that she's voiced by Mae Whitman makes it better.

Maybe it's just her voice is so hot that the animators have to make the character equally attractive to justify it.
